Bldg 1104

We saw our new home for the first time! It is wonderful. I cannot believe all of my kitchen cabinets. I can't wait for all of our stuff to come. We have three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a nice balcony off the livingroom.

It's a bird... It's a plane... It's the Roussels

The girls did pretty well on the airplane. Kaitlyn slept the WHOLE time! I woke her when we landed and she wanted to know how come they didn't give her any food or drinks. Delia slept for a while and the rest of the time was content with her DVD player. We arrived in Germany and some how Mom and I mannaged to get 11 suitaces, 2 carry-ons, and 2 children through the airport and to the USO.

Up, Up, and Away...

Aunt Pat and Kim came down with the van to take us to the airport. However, I was crazy to think all of my suitcases would fit in the car. So Aunt Marg came to the rescue in her car and helped out too. Thank you all sooo much! And thanks to Sean for doing the heavy lifting.

We got through the airport without too many problems. Kaitlyn had a little breakdown when she saw her things going through the security scanner because she thought her things were being taken. Once everything came out the other end we were good to go.

And off we go...

We are leaving now for the airport. As soon as we get settled and I have my computer I will write to everyone. We will miss you all but hope many of you will come and visit.

Iraq

Early this morning (or late last night our time) Brian and his unit left Kuwait for Iraq. I heard from him today and he is doing well.

The movers are here today. I am sitting in the living room watching our stuff get boxed up. I can't wait to get to Germany and set up our new place!

Back to School

Kaitlyn started First Grade today.
She has been so excited the past week for school to start.

Delia wanted to take the bus too.
She was quite upset to find out she couldn't go with her big sister.
