Lots of Treats and One Big Trick

The Community Center had "Trick or Treat Street" tonight where different organizations on base have tables and the kids go from table to table trick or treating. This started at 6pm and then we were returning to housing to trick or treat until 8pm (the Army has designated hours). This was a great plan until I locked us out of the house. In the chaos of it all I closed the door without my house keys or car keys. A friend was with me so we drove with her to the community center and then went trick or treating around housing. However, Delia being the lazy child she is decided she did not want to walk so I got to carry her the whole time (the stroller was locked in my car). At the end of the night I finally got a hold of my friend who had a spare key to my house and we were able to get back in. The girls had fun and finished the evening with big smiles and heavy treat bags.

Rockin' the Roller Rink

Tonight was a Halloween Party at the Roller Rink. The girls were very excited to wear their new skates. Kaitlyn loved it, despite a couple of wipe-outs. Delia on the other hand took her skates right off and decided to watch while she chowed down on some cupcakes.

Kid's Night Halloween Party

Tonight I took the girls to a Halloween Party at the Enlisted Club. Kaitlyn is Wonder Woman and Delia is a puppy.

At the party they had a mummy contest where teams had to use toilet paper to wrap up a person. Ofcourse Kaitlyn was right up there to be wrapped. Delia helped wrap on another team and her team won. It was a fun night.

A maze of boxes

It was a great surprise when Transportation called to say my household goods had arrived early. (They weren't expected until November 3rd) 3 trucks and 4 hours later all of our things were in our apartment. This picture was taken maybe half way through and doesn't even begin to show the chaos that is in our apartment right now.

Kaitlyn didn't have school today so we went bowling. Even with bumpers Delia managed to get the ball stuck twice.

Our little Picasso

Delia feels at home. She added her mark to the walls with brown marker. This is the wall after I tried removing the marker with Magic Eraser. I will be doing some painting over the next few days.
