Month of the Military Child

Today the Month of the Military Child was culminated with a day of fun.

Game On

Another beautiful day for a ball game.  The girls are having fun playing this season.  Delia is enjoying her first year in t-ball and Kaitlyn has come a long way in coach-pitch.

    

Easter Day

We had a great Easter Day.  We got together with a bunch of friends and their families and had a cookout.  The kids enjoyed an egg hunt to close out the day. 

            

Hoppy Easter

The girls were so excited to see all their Easter treats.

  

Season Opener

Today the girls had opening ceremonies for baseball.  They paraded around the field as they were cheered on.

        

Flamkuchen

Mom, Mama, and I went to a USO cooking class today.  Today they taught us to make flamkuchen which is like a pizza.  They were so yummy!

 

Brian’s Basket

This year for Easter I couldn’t find a good Easter Basket to send Brian, so I made one.  Brian loves Twinkies so I gut up some boxes and wove them into a little basket.

FRG Celebration

Tonight we had a FRG celebration for our volunteers and to mark our half-way point to our deployment.  Our leaders from Battalion came to award each of us with a etched cake plate.
