Final Shot

Tonight was Kaitlyn's last basketball game. She had a great season!

Preschool

Delia started Preschool today. She will be going to class Monday, Thursday, & Friday mornings.

Today Delia made tacos at cooking class.

Mardi Gras

Tonight we had some New Orleans food to celebrate Mardi Gras.

Fasching

"Fasching" is the German version of Mardi Gras. The locals dress up in costumes and the have a parade where they throw tons of candy. We went to the parade with Kaitlyn's girl scout troop and some friends.

King Cake

Tania came down to teach us how to make King Cake (a traditional Mardi Gras dessert). Jayden and Delia spread butter on the dough, Kaitlyn added the brown sugar, and Savian sprinkled the cinnamon. Tania and I rolled the dough up to form the circle and then baked it. Once the cake browned we covered it with icing and the kids decorated it with yellow, green, and purple sugar.

Friendship Night

This month at the community center they had Friendship Night. The girls enjoyed the bouncing castle, coloring, and other activities.

Family Skate Night

Kaitlyn's school hosted a Family Skate Night at the Skate Express.

Delia continues to enjoy ballet.

Delia enjoyed making Tortilla Wheels with turkey, cheese, carrots, and veggie cream cheese.

Kaitlyn started gymnastics today. She can't wait to start flipping all around.

Prima Ballerina

Delia had her first ballet class today. She had a great time at class and was happy to receive a sticker at the end.

Today Delia made Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches.
