Metz, France

This morning we drove into France to Metz.  We went to mass at the Cathedral and then took the tram around the city.

 

Happy Birthday Delia!

Today was Delia’s 4th birthday. She was so excited to get her Bitty Baby. After a few trial name (Sugar, Frosting) she decided to name her Lily. Lily came to school with her today for show and tell.

Delia wanted schnitzel for dinner so we went to the Schnitzel Haus. For dessert she had apple streusel with a birthday candle.

Cooking Class Graduation

Today Delia graduated from cooking class.  We had a little party after to celebrate.

Trier

Today we went to Trier, Germany. It was a beautiful day and we took a sight seeing bus tour around the city. Below is the Porta Nigra (Black Gate) which use to be the entrance to the city when it was ruled by the Romans.

Delia’s 4th Birthday Party

Delia had a cupcake birthday party with a few friends from cooking class.  They enjoyed pizza and decorated their own cupcakes.

 

 

The Big Game

Delia had her first soccer game today. The field was filled with 3 & 4 year olds running around and parents trying to guide them.

Karyn & I enjoyed learning to make potato pancakes, turkey, cabbage, and rhubarb sauce at cooking class today.

   

Volksfest

The May Carnival is going on in Kaiserslautern.  They had games, rides, and delicious food.
