Kaitlyn had a great basketball season. She still lacks some upper body strength to be strong offensively but has excelled at her defense. Today was her end of the year party and trophy ceremony.
Back at Ft. Sill we went bowling with a group of friends every Friday. We have started this back up and have been having a blast.
Brian and I went on a Valentine’s Day tour of the Rhine River today. We started at Burg Reichenstein, one of the oldest castles on the Rhine. The 11th century robber knight’s castle
has been destroyed and rebuilt at least three times.
Hunting in Germany costs thousands of dollars. The castle showcased over 1200 various antlers as a sign of their wealth.
The Chapel of St. Sebastian inside the castle.
The library’s book were in pristine condition. The owners didn’t read them but showcased them to show off their wealth.
After the castle we boarded a boat for a two hour tour of the Rhine River.
After the boat ride we finished the evening with dinner at a local wine cellar.
Brian took the girls to their first Ball tonight.

The Dad’s had to teach their girls some “Old School” moves.
The girls each received a tiara and a pocketbook full of goodies.
In the military soldiers are given coins as mementos and/or awards. Tonight each dad was “knighted” by the Prince and given a Princess Ball Coin.
