Kuwait

We heard from Brian today. He was in Kuwait and will be there through mid September. He is doing well but says it is very hot! It was 122 degrees today.

Brian left today for Iraq.

Leaving on a Jet Plane

Our tickets are booked! The girls and I will be flying to Germany Monday, September 29th. Mom is coming along for 2 weeks to help us get settled.

Alles Gute

Despite the down pour, we had a great day with our family and friends. It was wonderful to have everyone together. We have to give a special thanks to Aunt Pat for her amazing cake! You continue to surprise us with your talent.

Hershey

We took the girls on a trip to Hershey Park. They had so much fun on the rides.

Delia was a Hershey's Kiss...
Kaitlyn was a Peanut Butter Cup...

We ended the day with a trip to Chocolate World. We loved the tour of how chocolate is made! It smelt delicious in there and we gt free chocolate when we left. Delia took her candy and sat down in the middle of the walkway to enjoy her treat.

Philly

On our way to the hotel we drove through Philadelphia. We went on a hunt for the two famous Philly Cheesesteak places, Geno's and Pat's. Brian and I had a taste. Brian preferred Geno's while I liked Pat's.

With full stomachs we took the kids to the Liberty Bell and Declaration Hall.

Shark Attack

We spent the day at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey.

They had a touch tank where we got to touch real sharks!
Kaitlyn was transformed into a Mermaid Princess.

Number Six

Kaitlyn turned six today and was very happy to celebrate her birthday with her family, especially with Daddy!

Welcome Home Daddy

Everyone is very excited for Brian's visit home. The girls and I made signs to greet Brian at the airport.
