Zugspitze

Today we went to the Zugspitze which is the tallest mountain in Germany.  We took a train up most of the mountain and then a cable car to the top.

Neuschwanstein Castle

Despite the rain we went to Neuschwanstein Castle today.  The castle was an inspiration to Disney when creating Cinderella’s Castle.  The Castle was never fully completed as a result of the King’s death but the parts that were complete were beautiful.  We couldn’t take pictures inside though.

  

We took a horse and buggy up to the castle.

         

Bumblebees

This morning was Opening Ceremonies for Fall Sports.  The teams paraded around with their team banners.  Later this afternoon she had her first game.

1FC Kaiserslautern

Tonight Brian and I went to the 1FC Kaiserslautern Football (soccer) game with some friends.  They won 4-0 and we all had a great time.
